Star 2 focuses on improving gliding, kicking, and floating skills. Children practice front glides and kicks for 5 meters, back glides with recovery, and rollover glides. Basic swimming strokes for 5 meters and sculling on the back are introduced.
Star 3 enhances basic swimming techniques with advanced skills such as surface diving, head-first sculling, and freestyle swimming for 10 meters. Children also learn dolphin kicks and practice handstands in the water.
Star 4 introduces more complex swimming techniques, including freestyle with breathing, backstroke with arms and legs coordination, and basic breaststroke leg actions. Children practice continuous swimming for 15 meters and perform forward somersaults in the water.
Star 5 builds endurance and proficiency in freestyle, backstroke, and breaststroke, with a focus on treading water and performing somersaults. Children swim 25 meters of freestyle and backstroke, and 15 meters of breaststroke.
Star 6 enhances swimming skills for longer distances, introducing flip turns and deep-water diving. Children swim 50 meters of freestyle, 25 meters of backstroke and breaststroke, and perform dolphin kicks for 15 meters.
Star 7 focuses on advanced swimming techniques and survival skills, including eggbeater kicking for treading water and swimming with objects. Children swim 75 meters of freestyle, 50 meters of backstroke and breaststroke, and 25 meters of dolphin kick with a kickboard.
Star 8 develops proficiency in various strokes with longer distances and advanced techniques like flip turns. Children practice lifesaving techniques and carrying objects while swimming.
You made it! Star 9 is a mastery of all swimming strokes, advanced rescue techniques, and preparation for competitive swimming.
